Staying on Task!

It's almost the end of the year, and nobody wants to stay on task.
We are trying to get this school project done, but since it's the end of school
we feel like we don't have to do it, even though it's a huge part of our grade.
We've gotten a lot done in the past couple of days. But we're still having to meet with
different administrators to learn about things that are important to starting a school. Everybody's on edge with this project, matter a fact we just had a huge argument in class today because of it! Everything is just so unorganized, and it sucks that we pretty much have to depend on other students to get a good grade on this project. This project is also our final. We are having to wait on administration to meet with them so we can get information about this, and they just don't have time for us. Which is also very frusrating! But we are all trying our best to stay on task, but it is very hard to do!

newest!

A week without a teacher :(
Last week Mrs. Cantrell was gone on the Keys trip. We have this huge project that we have to do, and we are presenting it not this Friday, but next Friday. We are presenting it to administration and we are not very confident in this project at all. There is still so much that needs to be done, because that week that she was gone we didn't really do anything. It's so hard to get motivated without her here. Usually we just end up doing our work because she nags and nags and nags. We are so unorganized with this project its unreal! We've been talking to different administrators about what we need to know for our project. Everybodies freaking out because there's still so much to do! But we're so glad that Mrs. Cantrells back!

Senior Contribution.

For the past couple of weeks we've started on a new project and we have to build our own school. Since the seniors last day is pretty much today, they have to turn in all their work to their group members so we can finish it. Terrell has been working very diligently on building the school from the ground up. He has given me his login so that I as well as Amanda can finish the school. This is a very difficult task because every little detail has to be perfect. We've gotten a lot of stuff done so far. We've made a checklist of everything we need, from bathrooms to the sports facilities. The bathrooms, hallways, lobby, main office, classroom, and the library are completed. We still have to put some finishing touches on some things, but for the most part we're done! We're going to miss our seniors, and it's not fair because they don't get to see our finished project. :(

Mr. Hottiee Haagg :)

Mr. Haag came in Tuesday and talked to us about all the things they have to take care of in the school. It's crazy all the stuff that has to be kept track of. Every year we do an "Intent to Return" form to see what students are coming back and what students aren't. This helps our administration figure out how many spots are going to be open so that we can bring in new students. Since our school is such a small school there's a waiting list for students that want to get in, if your in elementary through middle school then that would be the only reason your usually waiting, because nobody wants to come here in highschool so we don't have a waiting list. But all this stuff starts in about February March, and continues into the next school year. Administration has so many responcibilities it's not even funny! I don't see how they keep up with everything. Mr. Haag was talking about how he gets emails constantly, and sometimes don't even get to them all. But on top of making sure we have room for the students, we also have to make sure that we have teachers to teach them, and that their classes won't be so over populated.
