Good Teachers :)

Everyone has a different opinion about a good teacher.
Some may say a good teacher is someone who discplines
their students, or who lets their students do whatever
they want and whenever they want to do it. So it depends on
who you ask, because I'm sure if you ask a highschool student
their opinion would be so much more different then asking
a parent. A group of highschoolers starting from 10th - 12th
grade came up with ideas of what makes a good teacher.

Here are some things that we came up with!

• Good teachers have to have a good attitude. No matter what the problem is, whether it's at home or other, there's no reason to take it out on your students. They look up to you, and if they see you taking your problems out on your students then they're going to think that it's okay for them to take their problems out on everybody else.
• I know alot of the teachers I have I look up to them. And a few of them have had a big impact on my life. They have helped me with personal issues at home and different things like that. Me being a teacher, I would want to be a big part of my students lives. I want to be approachable and trustworthy.
• Good teachers have high expectations for their students. They have confidence that their students can do it.
